Did Unicorn kick Yamakaze's ass? I like to think this took place after the child post and Unicorn got revenge on Yamakaze. Either that or they just switched costumes in some manner but that's more boring.

Kinda funny that Unicorn in Azur Lane is mostly similar to Yamikaze in Kancolle. Well, in doujins that is. Not sure about in respective games.

Open to interpretation! One of Unicorn's lines is "I'm not really a good girl," so who knows what she's hiding behind that babyface.

Also Yamakaze's whole shtick is "leave me alone" but of course that's a façade, right...

My headcanon is that Unicorn and Yamakaze are friends, and Unicorn is keen on Admiral but knows he's supposed to belong to Yamakaze. So when he called up to have Unicorn come over, they planned this to get revenge on him. (Yamakaze doesn't mind the Admiral having secondaries, but she insists on being the primary and has to "correct" him every once in a while.)
