I know I'm not the best artist

If something isn't quality then it's not a good idea to post, especially if it's your own work.

I do not see what the problem is, I'm not uploading something of bad quality. Nor do I believe a god in this of the illustration but I see that it is easy to criticize for people of his slander. Finally I've seen things a thousand times worse than mine on this page over approved, just suffice to say that it is a matter of money or favoritism. There are some moderators on this page.

This one is ok-ish in my opinion but still, self-uploading is a big no-no over here.

Rules without meaning for my taste. But no problem I do not care enough that one or two strangers see what I do, I do not care if they delete it. The disgusting system they carry will not stop me, that to accept things worse than mine just because it is not self-sufficient seems ridiculous.

The purpose behind the rules is to prevent a user, who just found the site, from treating it like deviant-art, pixiv, or any other art site. Danbooru is more of a place where people find images and upload it, not so much a place for artists to directly upload their art for the public.

Its more infrastructure than anything, with the approval system its not really anyone's benefit to upload their own art, only to have them get unapproved, often with little to know feedback.

To me, its not to keep anyone from doing what they want, just to prevent people from having the wrong expectations of what will happen.

Don't read the rules as having ill-intent so much as clarifying the purpose of the site.

Well, I do not see why a quality self-loading is a bad thing, it's not like I'm climbing something amorphous that nobody knows. Devianart does not seem like the best place especially for his contracts. (everything that comes up happens to be theirs especially in small users) Serious pixiv, an almost exclusive platform for people from Asia. What a madness here with luck speak English instead in pixiv you are lucky if people pay you the minimum attention.

That's your problem not the site's problem.
