Most of the Royals' capital ships have a certain sense of 'nobility' to them (except maybe Repulse), but the Royal destroyers are all quite distinctly lower-class. Cygnet, especially, switches between the pronouns 'uchi' and 'watashi,' which really conveys the sense of a cockney or bumpkin speaker catching herself and speaking the Queen's English to her commanding officer.
Also, I love it when Belfast's internal monologue is Irish stereotype and her actual speech is proper high-class english.
It's tasty, you know?In Belfast's caseThis is the finest quality tea, obtained through my connections in the fleet.Delicious.
Using the same teabag for a second brew, huh?
