Dare I ask what the context of the second half of that is?
I think it is a game in the middle east, you whack your friend with a stick until he lets go of you. Basically pain tolerance game. Not entirely sure about that though, but I heard of something similar. Think of it like the game kids play where you slap the top of the other person's hand... just more brutal... and with more butthurt involved
