Its not hate so much as its the slowly growing popularity of Cirno and Meiling. Originally, those two were the resident butt monkeys (well, them and Reisen but its usually only the Eientei guys trolling her), but as they grew in popularity, people stopped messing with them as much, and it sort of transferred over to the Aki sisters.

It doesn't help that they have the dubious distinction of being two goddesses(!) who are mere stage 1 bosses (and easy ones compared to others according to some)! A lowly kappa (no offense to Nitori) is considered more formidable than them. Normally this would apply to Lily White and Letty as well, but they already have their own meme's associated with them (Letty's large "hitbox" and "its' sprrriiinng!").

It does make me feel sorry for them though. Summer, Spring, and Winter are all really flashy, but apparently Fall is just sort of there. Maybe its a cultural thing (Fall over here means Halloween and Thanksgiving); do the Japanese have a lot of fall holidays?
