I think I'm... done? Hope I didn't miss anything. Additionally, the stray white cat has a blue text box with something looking like やべ inside it. I'm only about 50/50 sure though, due to how small and pixelated the font is.

First, thanks for your efforts. (I still prefer my "Wo-Daddy" translation, as it substitutes an admittedly unrelated pun on GoDaddy for the (W)O-tousan pun that has no direct English equivalent. However, I'm obviously biased, which is why I appeal to third parties like you in cases like this.)

Additionally, the stray white cat has a blue text box with something looking like やべ inside it. I'm only about 50/50 sure though, due to how small and pixelated the font is.

Wow, I didn't even notice it before. Thankfully, remembering context of that cat's appearance (bringing canned fish in exchange for fresh), I was able to figure out it says saba(サバ).

Posting this separately to highlight it: Should this be added directly to the "Akagi-chan's Food-Snatching" pool? And if so, where in the pool?

Oh. I didn't spot the GoDaddy pun, and went with Daddy-Wo because I thought that one is a pun on 'daddy-o', the dated hip-hop/jazz slang for 'dude'.

That works, too, and the fact that you picked up on it instead of my wordplay is probably a mark in its favor. Another reason to let third parties arbitrate.
