yes, the wave of new "official" Link art is coming!
The next Legend of Zelda game (after BotW 2) should have an option to pick between a male and female Link to play as. After all, Link's supposed to be the 'link' between the player and the game. Could be interesting if they look more different from eachother than just being twins (like 'FeLink' having red hair like in that magazine).
I wonder, if they actually made a game with female Link, would they stick with Princess Zelda, or would they avoid lesbians and make it so a female Link means a male Zelda (presumably named Francis)?
