    *ahem* Allow me to explain, but first sorry for being a smartass

    The "Little Red Riding Hood" is, in truth, a story created to mirror the real world, with the child as, well, the child, the wolf as a pedophile, and the hunter as the one who saves the girl from the pedo. Although I should mention here that it may have actually gone exactly like this comic here; the 'hunter' who is actually the 'wolf' frames someone and created this story so that people will view him as a hero and escaping his punishment. However, the story also may or may not refer to an actual wolf attack.

    Uh.... hunter is not present in the original, and even if wolfy was role of pedo.... not very convincing cause he ate grammy.

    more like serial rapist, if you wanna put it in 'symbolism'

    i would rather put the wolf as 'maturity' rather than some bad dude.

    i hate english.

    one thing I got to say
    (though many should already know and hence grasped the artist's true meaning) is,
    as a general custom in manga drawing, black frames are for memories and flashbacks.

    Now go read the manga again.

    So, the girl was getting raped by the villagers before the wolf attacked them and rescued her, but then the villagers hunted down the wolf and killed him, leaving the girl alone and with no option but to follow the wolf in death, right?

    Beautiful, though I'm still pretty confused about the eye-patch, the order of events and what exactly is happening in each part.

    some say that the wolf was just HER 'IMAGINATION' (focus on eye reflection of herself on the last bit)so powerfully manifested due to her hard situation only that she took some time noticing it, while desperately trying not to by making self explanations like the execution, and the flood. But yet she notices it, and falls into greater despair since chances are the death of gran hasn't happened at all with the actual existence of the wolf.
    not that I'm sure since I'm still clueless about the recovering eye bit

    Interesting thing about this theory. The bandages on her eye fall off on page 9, just before the wolf attacks people. Judging from the position of the bandage that was wrapped on the top of her head, we can say that the right eye was what was bandaged here.

    Later, the villagers find her and immediately after is the execution of the wolf. While it wouldn't have been necessary to show them seeing and capturing the wolf, it can be argued that there may not have been a wolf to capture in the first place.

    And while it makes no sense, the girl is bloody on page 19 whereas she's clean in the pages before and after it. She isn't bleeding from the mouth like the wolf is however and she the bloody girl is reflected in the wolf's eye.

    And the girl reflected in the eyes in page 27 has bandages on her left eye as well although you can also say that it's just a reflection. But that doesn't work because nobody else is there. Is it the girl breaking down into tears then? But she isn't wearing bandages in this scene. And judging by the hair, the crying girl is reflected in the left eye.

    By itself, the story is already extremely depressing, but it's possible to see that there may be an underlying story contained in it. You can make your own interpretations of all this and maybe the position of the bandage is key. Or perhaps there is nothing more than what we see.

    I myself am too depressed after going through the whole thing again. You can't just see a dying anything try to comfort somebody else and then succumbing to death and not cry bitch tears at that...

    Edit: And apparently, the girl has heterochrimia so we can say that the bandages aren't for injuries.
