These pictures are only similar, not directly related. Removing relationships.
They are right after each other in the same batch though, I'd say that makes them related enough. Just like those Minecraft pictures you insisted being parented despite the circumstances being them same as here.

I remember those: I didn't insist on parenting them, I insisted on keeping the commentary you removed even though it was relevant to both images. The parenting was just something you neglected to do.
Even if that was the issue, though, it still wouldn't be the same. Those pictures were of the same original twitter post and were blatantly connected (described as a 2koma by the author). These pictures were posted together in a twitter roundup on pixiv. They have as much in common as the Morikubo cosplay series by the same artist, which are often uploaded the same way to pixiv, and those posts are neither parented or pooled even though you've uploaded nearly all of them yourself.

Thanks for the tip, I made a pool for the Morikubo cosplay posts as you suggested, anything else to complain on?
Oh and since you made me test my hypothesis last time this happened, is it time for you to test yours now by parenting them and see if anyone removes it? It sounds only fair.
That's why it's deceiving to parent them. There's no continuity, it's just the artist expressing his frustration on his aging tablet and pen. They're drawn and posted separately to twitter as this happens.

Not interested in getting into whatever you think this is, but I don't believe you really thought those needed a pool: the search you used to make it when you dumped them into there makes it redundant. Hope you feel better, soon.

I guess you think pool #9073 that I based it on is redundant too then, the pool helps finding all the posts since some of them don't have the cosplay identified yet and are only tagged with cosplay request unlike the previously linked pool. And thanks for the concern I guess, not that it'll do any good.

An unidentified cosplay should still have the cosplay tag, making the total tags saved from the search 3 instead of 4, and the other pool you linked is for a specific kind of cosplay, so I'm not sure you even really looked at that, either.

Don't see any reason not to have these as a set. They're variations on the same joke.
It just seems frivolous. Every once in a while I see people use parent/child relationships like it's only for tiny pools and completely overlook it's original purpose. For instance, using the same logic as above (same pixiv set) post #3446484 & post #3446494 were parented, but post #3432456 (a cropped version from twitter) was not. Parenting everything that has some kind of relation encourages this, and I don't think much is lost from not utilizing it at every opportunity. Ushi has drawn more of these, however, so maybe they'll wind up in a pool, anyway.

That doesn't change the fact that you can find all the posts in that pool with a simple 4 tag search (except for one that wasn't included for some reason?), so I'm turning your words right back at you.

Regarding the posts you linked, I actually agree with you for once, the third post should have the second as parent, the first one should be alone and not parented at all.
