Collab events and even costume stories are canon... to an extent, same with MOD3 costume stories, those are canon as well, though with collab's and regular costume stories... i feel they've happened at "some point"
There is never really a specific timeline as to when the costume stories happen, however in some of them, characters from collab events make brief mentions about their teams that were present during collabs, such as Thunder in her anniversary costume story (which is bloody adorable with how much she adores Calico), same with G28's anniversary costume, in her costume story she gets dragged into a poker game with Defy, and K2 was also present when she makes a bit of an arrogant comment about how she's the leader of ATK (this wouldn't have been possible if Glory Days didn't happen) and to not underestimate her.
Even AK74U's chinese new year costume, has her mention things about not wanting to part with her current body because it holds some memories of a dear friend A Certain... arrogant AR who has poor alcohol tolerance

The possibility of SF capture being implemented in the next major event is pretty high, and if anything Architect and the Snake (Ouroboros) will most likely be our first freebie SF Units when the feature eventually gets implemented
But the next Major event wont happen till some time after Chapter 12 gets implemented. Considering Valhalla just ended on CN, i'll give it... 2 ~ 4 months till the next Major Event happens. After all...

If you're talking about Operation Cube+, its not really connected that much.
Timeline wise, Cube+ is set after M4's encounter with Dreamer in Chapter 7-4E where she's effectively shut down mentally, Operation Cube+ is basically M4 running a simulation of Operation Cube repeatedly to get her Digi-mind going, while this is happening M16, RO and Soppu are searching for a way to get her back faster which is what is going on throughout Chapter 8

inb4 the playable SF units were originally programmed to be Manchurian Agents but Persica saw through it immediately and reconfigured them to be like the other T-Dolls.
