Yeah, but this animal’s snout looks like it is broad for most of it’s length, instead of steadily tapering off like the crocodiles. The darker green coloration looks a little bit more like the alligator. Also, it’s hard to tell, but it looks like the scutes pop up right behind the eyes, unlike the crocodile, who has a flat space immediately behind the eyes, followed by scutes, followed by another flat space.

All this being said, I think Ido just wanted to draw something that looked like it belonged in the Order Crocodilia.
