She's attractive... but stringing a guy along isn't something I'd forgive at all, even if the victim was Beamspam jesus. Well on the bright side, I don't think Flay hits that low in SRW W.
True she did string him along for part of the series but towards the end she was really calming down and reverting to how she was before her father died. Of course it was to late for most to even care at that point

Not only was she a tragic character, but she was also beginning to genuinely regret her past actions and genuinely love Kira. It's just such a shame she died before she had a chance at true redemption and happiness.
Flay is one of the most repulsive, manipulative, indignant, whores, in anime history. I could never forgive her even if she did realize she was a bitch toward the end. I also don't think she actually loved Kira ever. I think she only thought she did because he was the only person that still cared about her shitty ass.
Anyway, if Flay had lived, she would have gone right back into bitch mode the minuet she found out that Kira had fallen for Lacus. I honestly find nothing tragic about her character and I think she deserved much worst then what she got at the end.
