She did spend a night at school for some research back in Chapter 12 which, correct me if I'm wrong, would be weird for a middle schooler to do.

It says at the beginning that Mihari skipped grades into college - so she is in college, but much younger than a college student would ordinarily be, which is why I said "middle school age".

She met Kaede however "Back in middle school". Both her and Kaede are in highschool age. Kaede is still in highschool while Mihari went to college. So both very well would know enough about dudes getting boners. She's just a pure maiden.

Kaede then made her "Highschool debut" as a fashionable girl rather than her "Normal boring" middleschool look when she met Mihari.
