Not impossible since Sophie got to be in one. Infact, Ryza might actually work out better in a fighting/musou game since the game itself uses ATB and out of all the girls within the Atelier series Ryza is the most active fighter, the way she moves and attack combining melee and magic together in a pretty impressive fighting style rather than just casting spells.
