That shindol manga? Eh, I've seen worse. didn't even make me feel Despair. in fact it the opposite. i actually liked the action scenes.(papa-san scene especially) oh and ending? even more MEH.

does the Nina Dog scene from Full Metal also count as a mental test? it always seems to trigger peeps whenever its mentioned. FEELS HEAVY and all that. my thoughts on it are low enough that i got a laugh out of a friend that did a fanart of Nina and the dog doing he fusion dance.

there's another artist i kind off avoid...Fatalpulse IIRC...

So I had to do some research.

And I'm still not sure this really is a direct reference to Emergence.
I mean, there are some serious and annoying etiquette rules for document photos in japan, so her ID photo being plain and generic is par for the course. And her nerdy design is pretty much the very stereotype for the nerdy girl.

Unless the artist himself says it's a reference to Emergence, I tend to think this is a bunch of snowflakes looking for something to be offended about.

In scenario, Marblehead might simply be a nerdy girl that is trying to make a total makeover for her naval-base debut, in an attempt to be more accepted than before.

And I'd like to see a "closet nerd" Marblehead interacting with the KanColle's "closet geek" Iowa.
