While they do have a bit of canine blood in them, their tails are the standard demon tail that you would find on any other demon. Demon tails are commonly cephalopodic. In other words, there's no bones to break, and no joints to strain. Pulling it or squeezing it too hard would still hurt, but bending at weird angles is fine.
