I normally wouldn't approve of inserting current day bullshit into my escape mechanisms, but let's be real here.
Touhou takes place in literal Fantasy Lesbian Landâ„¢. The implications regarding LGBT are about as obvious as can be.

Touhou characters are portrayed as friends, enemies, and everything inbetween just as often as they're made to kiss and have sex. Stop worrying about it so much, if people want to headcanon them as gay, it's not hurting you.
