This is a multi-layered reference. Curry of this name appeared in an episode of FLCL, which like Eva was made by Studio Gainax. The brand more literally is "Prince of the Stars"/"Hoshi no Ouji-sama", the Japanese title of the book The Little Prince, and further references a real brand of curry, "Prince of Curry"/"Curry no Ouji-sama". (The character on the box has stars in his hair, and appears on the box in FLCL as well.) Lastly, "The Little Prince Goes to New York" closely references the Japanese title of the movie Coming to America.Sorry... I don't really get it...Looks like it's... Manhattan flavor...?
