Seems like Ryuuji's going nuts over the fact that Taiga keeps jerking his emotions around due to her tsundere nature. After all, sometimes she's nice, sometimes she's spiteful. But that's just me.
As far as the actual series goes, I can't remember an incident where he'd react like this. When the L word came into play, he heard it from her first during her post-traumatic daze, so I don't see this being linked to the context of the show. Again, my opinion.
