    Might not be a good idea to make a recording of Sada-chan, there, fella. Gives all sorts of new layers to the phrase "unauthorized reproduction". At the very least, Jitome's not going to take kindly to him increasing the potential of more curses spreading.

    I suspect that might be her boyfriend, since he seems keen to drag her away in the last panel, so him having a recording probably won't make the situation any worse. But Jitome-chan definitely is going to put the brakes on a tryst during working hours. The whole point of this exorcise is to let poor Sada-chan have some rest.

    It makes total sense. You don't put a criminal on the streets again, you try to reform it in a place full of guards. Also she needs some protection and someone keep an eye on her. A shrine doesn't harm her it seems.

    Might end up unintentionally turning her into a guardian spirit of some sort. After all, she was originally a curse/vengeful ghost, got semi-'cleansed/redeemed' (happened in Sono VIII), and now obviously being in an active shrine doesn't hurt her. With her SO (does he even have a title associated with him yet?) providing life energy... if she even needs such... she may become some sort of lesser divine entity if she stays at the shrine.

    I think that’s just Jitome making an excuse. You can see her sweating and looking away in that panel.

    Yeah, it seems to lean in that direction, since Sada-chan is facing away from Ai-chan. The moment she catches a glimpse though, she remembers her as the upstairs neighbor with giant knockers XD

    The closest you get is that the first image she's in has "cursed tape" written one the video cassette the guy was holding. Otherwise there's no direct statement of why she's haunting particular people (if she's even done so before this guy). Heck, since she was filming in a parody/rip-off, 'Cursed Tape' might have been the title of the movie.

    I was thinking on this a bit. The way she had trouble getting out the monitors, granted because she has ginormous tatas, seems like she knows how the haunted tape girl routines goes... but she never really practiced it too much. Also we learned her film career died when she literally died. So it's possible that the VHS tape is the last functional copy around... or perhaps even the original tape the movie was filmed on. (Disclaimer: I know studio movies aren't filmed directly on VHS tape... just using manga universe logic for "rule of cool" in this case). Thus Sada-chan is unique, and our lucky guy here is the first and only to free her... as well in possession of the sole VHS tape able to summon her.
