Based on the coming pages, it seems to be close to Late or Middle Modern ages at the very least. Despite there being Kangaroos and Emus, they’re probably still somewhere in Europe (since snow and lack of giant spiders). I was surprise too cause I thought they were close to modern day but it should have been obvious from the clothes of the Nun’s town residents.
