    We do know that in this yandere filled naval base that nearly every girls do get ringed by the commander, and that's no joke. He must've very loved them, so the possibility of him abandoned them is unlikely, and then we have another theory, what if the commander just... gets invited to a drink a lil too much by his colleagues and the girls is freaking out about it? Here in Asia, men with (or without) families got forced to drink quite a lot, usually to keep their working relationship intact. I don't say that the commander didn't do anything wrong, it's just a theory
