Why wouldn't she? It would be logical to teach those skills, seeing how she would be using similar skills herself all the time. If you can call them skills when talking about robots. Maybe they would be features for her, probably installed at the factory. She would have noticed the son came with pretty much nothing pre-installed. A totally untrained neural network.
