If I read the TAGs right, she's also called Blue_(pokemon) right? But why? If the pokemon fire/leaf is a remake to correct and update the red/blue versions why name her blue_(pokemon)?

Blue is the Pokemon Special character, Leaf is the female protagonist in Fire Red and Leaf Green.

She's names Green in Pokemon Special. These are the clothes that Silver sent her. But we're all confused about this one way or the other.

That's in the English releases, but since her name is swapped with Oak's grandson's, there can't be an alias (since green_(pokemon) is aliased to his full name, ookido_green). Since Japan's first two games were Red and Green, but internationally the first two games were Red and Blue*, the characters got name-swapped to match.

*Side note, but one I find interesting, is that R/B are based on Japanese Blue Version except for PKMN distributions, which are taken from JP Red & Green, respectively. Since JP Blue's script was used, there's at least one in-game trade that isn't what it's purported to be.
