Is it just me or does her eyes look like their trying to hold back tears?
Could be tears of joy. Something anime artist quite often when trying to show a character has experience the true meaning of self sacrifice, or perhaps in this case finding relief in coming to terms with ones place in the world.
I don't know what I'd call them if they're not tears? Only adding that they're drawn when she has her head down and drawn differently from the empty expression variation.
