I've been told that I'm thick headed like that. Yet I'm not one to ignore the obvious. At least that's what I believe.

But why? Shourei didn't touch her child, right? She only touch Reisen child (I forget her name...really)

I take it "stepping up" for their kids. In Reisen's case its like "hey! get your hands off my kid!" or "Your too young for a boyfreind missy!". And in Kanako's case, its more like "hey! my girl aint good enough?" Thats how i see it.

I guess it's like, just by being the spikey-haired idiot, Shou automatically becomes the main character, and all the girls revolve around him by default.

I'm sort of conflicted, in a way, I'm thinking "What the hell is the first boy who stumbles into Gensokyo doing getting an accidental harem and main character status just for having a Y-chromosome"... on the other hand, it sort of seems like this is exactly the excuse it seems like so many doujin artists were looking for to make a Touhou harem.

I still think that a KogaSana child would be better.
