Pretty sure they are supposed to be fingering positions, the leftmost fingers (from our POV) are meant to be inserted anally, right ones vaginally. The only one I really recognize is the upper right, which is accompanied by the rhyme "two in the pink, one in the stink". I'm not sure why I even know that. A few years ago every generic asshole was doing it. I have no idea where it started, though.
