    https://chanomach.fanbox.cc/posts/2430756

    From blog post:

    Deep Fake Life

    https://chanomach.fanbox.cc/posts/2430756

    From blog post:

You know those apps that let you swap faces? I thought, what if they eventually evolved to a point where you could change the faces of people in real life with someone you love? And my face would be replaced with the face she wants too. This drawing shows an extreme case of mask marriage*.
I tried looking at it at a smartphone size after drawing and thought "this is pretty hard to make out", but if I made the composition too easy to get it would stop being a deep fake, so there's kind of nothing I can do about it. To make things a bit easier to understand besides that, I added the pictures on the wall to show that they're what's being used as the base, even though I don't think anyone would really have those up there.
For the setting, I just went with a simple dinner scene. Part of it is that having food in the drawing gives me a way to add more information, but I also thought that the dining table makes it very easy to express that sense of "made-up-ness". The food does it, and you can tell what the relationships are from where people are sitting, things like that that make it easy to get into the act.
I don't get many chances to draw regular food, but it's fun, drawing food.
    * Refers to a couple that pretends to be close and happy being married but are otherwise emotionally distant.

Sounds too boomer for me. Or too pretentious. Sometimes it's just the same things.

Hmm, interesting idea. Although I'm thinking that if you did swap their face with someone else or someone you once knew wouldn't the personality difference play a significant part in whether or not this type of relationship would last. Maybe it's not meant to be a permanent in the end I dunno. This "faceswap coupling" thing seems like a neat way to explore certain aspects of how human affection is formed and even maintained.
This could make for some really interesting stories I feel.
