    Emperor & Century King

    I am supposed to be the Teio-sempai here...

    Teio's alias (both the uma and the RL horse) is "Emperor" (different word from Rudolf's). Basically "Teio(u)" written in kanji instead of the usual katakana.

    Meanwhile Kitasan (the uma) is sometimes called "Century King" by the Japanese Umamusume fanbase, due to the colors of the track jacket worn by her younger self in S2 of the Umamusume anime resembling Kamen Rider Black's. (cf. twitter #1348952533612433409, as pointed out by a fan). She also has red eyes and her belt buckle looks vaguely henshin-esque.

    Same apply for Satono Diamond and McQueen. Certainly doesn't help by the anime implying only a short time has passed (Teio and McQueen are still in school) and officially both Kitasan and Satono are taller and bigger than Teio and McQueen

    Also breast jokes are funny.

    Anyway... the actual horse may also be a Kamen Rider Black reference. Name sounds similar (especially when compared to Black's "Century King Black Sun" persona), and the horse is also commonly photographed with a yellow-trimmed black horse blanket that looks like Black's color scheme (like his horsegirl counterpart's S2 jersey) if you squint a bit.

    Yeah Teio and sometimes Mcqueen are getting treated this since their kouhai's Kitasan and Satono end up being more matured and bouncy bouncy...
