    Yeah but Yorihime couldn't beat Reimu at her own game either ( being a shrine maiden/becoming an avatar for divine (higher deities?)) consdering they needed her for something shrine maiden related after the duel on the coast.

    It is to clear Yorihime name as a traitor or something. clearly no because Reimu is better but to prove that besides Yorihime, there is still a person who can summon gods into their body. Before the flight of gensokyo team, the moon already have a fuss about someone who is summoning god, and the only one they know is Yorihime, so they suspect her to have some plot again the moon. Yorihime keeps Reimu behind to clear that.

    Nope Makai is situated within Gensokyo.Its the place where demons live like Gengetsu,Mugetsu,Likes of Koakuma,Sara and their creator Shinki.And its different from Hell.

    Isn't Makai actually separate from Gensokyo? Since only a few people with special abilities or item can cross the border to Makai?
