I do like the idea that the mc, through constantly going from one singularity to another and lostbelt to lostbelt, having their magic circuits worn out bit by bit from overuse of constantly having (multiple) servants fighting etc. and substaining wounds, would eventually lead to permanent damage (in this case to the point of needing artificial limbs). It does paint a more "realistic" and believable view to the immersion (rather than only a possible mental strain like in the story/game).

This is probably what happens when you don’t have the 5 or 6 servants that can pretty much magick away any injury that isn’t actual death.
It's not exactly far off from reality if we consider what happened to Guda over some stories. Being shot, a cannon round exploding next to them, crazy oni playing with insides (technically within dream?), who knows what else. Honestly? No matter what the end for Lostbelts will be, Guda will most likely be a wreck emotionally. Physically? Also possible.
A lot of the focus is drawn to her missing leg, but what's going on with her left arm at that odd angle? Is it broken? Or does she have some sort of iv drip?

One of the Pixiv tags is "四肢欠損" which translates (in tags) to quadruple amputee so it's likely all her limbs are fake, unless it means something else.

It might be fake as well, at least from the elbow down. Since it's not bandaged up beyond the IV drip despite being apparently unusable.
Also, all that medice lined up besides her bed.

Anybody can tag stuff on Pixiv, unless the artist get it all locked. It would be strange for all of Guda's limbs to be fake when half of them are covered in bandages and scars.
