Flash's sword is supposed to be a rapier but for some reason artists keep drawing it as a saber (or a weird hybrid of a rapier blade with a saber hilt).

This one is explicitly called a saber though, and is also portrayed with some curvature on the next page.

I'm always amused that Grass is American-born (just like IRL) but she's portrayed as a literal Yamato Nadeshiko. While the other American-born character Taiki is living the American cowgirl stereotype.

There's also her roommate and (alleged) "best friend" El Condor Pasa.

Grass's profiles in the anime and the game all mention she's an "American-born returnee" (starting from the first word in the first sentence!) and that despite being so she "speaks fluent Japanese" and is a "perfect Yamato Nadeshiko inside". Oh and the anime ver also hints at her being black-hearted inside.

Edit: Waitaminute, her game profile got updated. Says both her parents are weebs* and raised her to be a "genuine Yamato Nadeshiko". 草wwwwww

*Okay the specific word is "with admiration of Japanese culture". And the overall wording (including the part mentioning returnee") kinda implies she is of Japanese descent, so maybe "weeb" isn't entirely accurate... *NAGINATA'D*

Edit2: Waaaait... El Condor Pasa's profile has also been updated. No longer explicitly says she's American-born. Now it reads "Latina-esque".
