Artist's commentary
Quetzalcoatlus is a pterosaur that flourished at the end of the Cretaceous and is considered to be one of the largest flying animals in history.
Its wingspan measured 12 meters, and if you can't quite imagine that, please try picturing in your mind a giraffe with wings taking to the sky.
