Okay, I give up. The second text box mentions another medicinal herb alongside senna (ルゥム, "room" or "loom", something like that) that is probably either a laxative or something to induce vomiting, but I've done quite a bit of searching in both Japanese and English and I cannot find a plant referred to this way at all. For now, I just left it out of the box entirely, but if someone could find whatever this is referring to so that it can be added back in, I'd appreciate it.

'Very timid' doesn't automagically mean it won't attack if it feels threatened.
Very timid, as in, it won't commit to a stand up fight. A poison is a way of taking down an adversary or prey without expending much effort. As a tactic, it's even safer than inflicting a wound and waiting for a target to bleed out and die.
Hm. After a bit of looking into this, it looks like the Japanese equivalent would just be ルマ (and even then, finding that was kind of tough, so I don't think it's a particularly well-known plant there). It was a good try (and a fun bit of research), but unfortunately I don't think this is the culprit unless there's a significant typo there.
*Skitter skitter skitter...**Crumble...**Retching...*...Please... just hang in there a little bit longer...If the poison has begun to circulate in her system, it may already be too late. I immediately prepared charcoal powder to cleanse her stomach, along with extracts of medicinal herbs such as senna to encourage evacuation from the body. By doing so, the remains of an object resembling a pill were expelled along with her gastric juices*Place...*The remains of the "shell"-like object were abnormally bulky for medicinal purposes, with what appeared to be twisted ancient language and cursed seals visibly engraved on it"Go someplace where you won't be a bother and die"*Grind**Griiind*Despite its size, the obsidian spider is quite timid, but because of that trait, the powerful poison it uses to ensnare its enemies has long been used for assassinations. However, there's no one in this village that would know that, and the pawn shop owner isn't that kind of person. I can only think of one possibility... her previous "master"Reszurre-san...It was just my intuition as a doctor, but Reszurre's state when we met, her wounds, and this poison treatment all gave the impression of that sort of message, oozing with ill will. A dark emotion surged from the pit of my stomach...... but for now I needed to do something about the poison in her body...
