I think the top panels were just him going to the shop to get her proper winter clothes while she stayed at home. And the main panel is him finally having her situated and ready to go.
He still hasn't recovered yet now he is going to take her on a long trip up north? We will either find out he has no limits or he will hit his limit real soon.
I haven't been following this story that closely, but he's got a horse in the first two panels?
It looks to me like he borrowed someone's horse. The community he lives in seems to be somewhat barter based, so I assume the horse's owner is one of his patients.
Can't wait for this story to be followed up. It's the most interesting thing I've read in quite a while, and that's saying something considering there have only been like 20 something pages made so far.
