    Not quite, his name is Doctor. Doctah is derived from the many Japanese VAs in the game that say ドクター(dokuta-), due to a lack of an equivalent R sound in the Japanese language. It's just a bit of engrish that the AK community decided to adopt, so it went from ドクター(dokuta) ---> Doctah which is emulates the Japanese pronunciation. Kinda a funny thing actually.

    Normally, yes, but in this comic Octodeco takes it a step further and makes it so that his name is quite literally Doctah. As in Doctor Doctah. It's on the nameplate on his door.
