Perspective makes it seem like it's both from the side and from behind. The skirt is supposed to sit above the waist but her butt is a mile past her hips. Her head is too far forward. Her right arm is ridiculously long. Her right thigh is the same.

The actual shading work is phenomenal, but it doesn't make up for severely flawed base.

I really don't see the flaw. It looks like she's sitting sideways but her torso is leaning right, which is absolutely possible.
