Yeah, it's not like the fate of their school is on the line anymore. Team Rabbit would probably be crying (and Momo of course :D ), but that's about it.
I also think that the Ooarai vs Keizoku match is a done deal, unless the producers want to be very bold and have the protagonist school not take part in the finals. However, since there are 3 episodes left, the conclusion of that match might not happen until episode 5, so at least a few years from now.
