In Japan his official name is Green. In the U.S. his official name is Blue. :p

His original name given to him by the artist/author who created him is Green. Have some respect. I don't care what it is "officially" in North America. Sometimes North America makes mistakes, and at one point in our lives we are all ignorant to those mistakes. We grow up; we realize the mistakes, and we adjust accordingly. Anyone who refuses to adjust are doing so in disrespect to the original creators, thus are not real fans, and quite frankly they just don't seem to care at all. That, my friends, is a big shame.

Also, sorry, I know I'm being a jerk, but I feel very strongly about this, and feel that I should voice my opinions. Ban me if you want, but I'm honestly not trying to be an asshole.

Then maybe the logos shouldn't use compound names.

I say Rock Man was alot better than Mega Man, but it does make him sound like he has that 4 hour man syndrome from too much Viagra.

I just associate it with the geological rocks, which makes him kinda specified in his abilities. "Mega Man" is much more centric.

Just checked Wikipedia on the "Classic" series, and the only boxarts that look compounded are & Bass (GBA), Powered Up (and then, the second "M" is clearly uppercase), and Battle & Chase (Euro cover).
