To whoever put it as Ping Hai... after it was already tagged correctly as Hai Chi earlier... There sure are jokes to be made about her, but tags aren't a place for it.

The only joke here about Hai Qi (pinyin, Hai Chi if Wade-Giles) is that she's a CL when she carried 203 mm guns (heavy cruiser caliber) in real life. Then again, we got Kirov.

And once again, you need to remember the London Naval Treaty only applied to the nations that had signed them, which are the USA, UK, France, Italy and Japan, and only applied to ships that were built after the treaty was signed (1930). Hai Qi was completed in 1899 (IIRC back then navies haven't start differentiating between light and heavy cruisers), so she is in a different case to Kirov, which was laid down in 1935.

She was only 4300 tons and carried only 2 of those 203mm guns. Calling her a CA would be kinda silly.
