Genuinely upset that this got flagged for quality check because I really like this picture and there's nothing wrong with it. Don't know if it's just hating on frogsnake's specific style

Terrible hands, bad perspective, bad proportions, scary faces.
"It's just style" has been meme'd on as an excuse for bad art since the internet was made. Certain there is more than a little wiggle room for purposefully wacky anatomy. But this feels like errors rather than style.
Doubly so because these errors are inconsistent across the artist's history. Some images are just fine. Some are like this. Some are inbetween.

None of what you've said is right. The hands and perspective are perfectly fine and the proportions also are, though the legs might be a bit long. Leg length is perfectly fine as an artistic choice. His faces are also the opposite of scary, they're very endearing and come across as much softer than purely anime-style faces. I have to think that you're saying this out of a previous bias against the artist since your claims are genuinely outlandish.
@Lobuttomize You should always wait a month before appealing an image. After 30 days, approver reactions on an image are purged. Those 19 who already responded to the flag will not see the image again from this appeal. Your bible verse is being shouted into the void.

Why would I want these same approvers if I'm trying to get it approved? I'm sure it'll be shared regardless

You're just putting yourself out there for more flak. Stop commenting on this and step away for a while. You're already on fire, the solution is not to add more oil to yourself.

Because there are about 20 active approvers in any given week. Considering that I can name about 5 approvers who rarely click any reaction other than "Approve", if you have 19 approvers responding with reactions you've run out of approvers.
This image became infamous due to frequent comments, so you've got more reactions on it than average.
Edit: You're actually at 21 now. That's an unprecedented number.

Said I'd die on this hill. There's multiple ways that the site makes sure old history is never expunged so there's no real way for heat to die down regardless. Caring about things like downvotes or other "social credit" measures is the worst way to experience the internet

Even ignoring the problem with assuming 20 approvers per week, seeing as it's only an average, even if I have a smaller pool of approvers now, it doesn't matter because getting the same approvers will only yield the same results in this case. Your completely wrong comment is more than enough for most approvers to shy away from approving it regardless
