Before the inevitable Steak meltdown, I have to ask: what's your opinion on organ transplants? Because when you really think about it, how is an "arm transplant" any different than, say, a kidney or liver transplant, save for the fact that it's more visible?
Her limbs were affected by infection from her abuse, with a bit of curse/magic making it so they wouldn't heal as well as they would normally have due to elven resistance to such. Her eye(s) are being specifically targeted by a curse, with the visible one being weakened and the covered one being totally blocked. The frankendoctor has stated that even if the eye itself were physically replaced, Reszurre would still be blind on that side.

I didn’t even know something like limb transplants were possible since to attach an arm also means to attach the nerves. I understand prosthetics, but an entire arm? That sounds way more complicated than an organ transplant, not saying those are any easier. It’s not like frankenstein where you just stitch it up to the person since I assume there are bones, muscle, nerves, blood vessels both attachment and making sure the blood will flow into it which means once again reopening the closed veins from the assumed detached previous limbs, plus a bunch of other shit like if it all works out the person would have to go through months of physical therapy so the arm does work since even with prosthetics it takes a long time to get used to.

I had a feeling it would be something like that since I assume the transplant of such a large body part would cause more problem then hope for since even with compatibility the limb itself will still be a foreign object with all the previous tissue and parts from its previous owner. If I remember correctly, skin cells and other bits are replaced periodically by your body and I don’t believe it would be easy for your body to just take in an arm and just work with it. I heard of fingers, maybe even a hand, but an entire limb just seems pretty complicated.

That's if you're lucky. Your body's immune system won't recognize the transplant's as being a graft. it see that it's DNA is not yours and will attack it. The person is then forced to take immune system suppressant drugs to keep that from happening. You can guess what will likely happen later on.
But not all is gloomy now. Medical tech is soon to reach a point where a near perfect replica arm can be printed using the clone's flesh of the one receiving the graft. The body with the clone's arm will see it as acceptable and not attack it, due to having the same DNA in it.

The actual mechanism is kind of interesting though; the immune system "checks" the proteins on the cell surface. I forget which ones exactly, but certain ones signal to the immune system if they are self/ non self. If they match, the immune system leaves it alone. If they don't... the immune system starts attacking that tissue.
Keep in mind, you can technically transplant the entire blood system by killing off all the bone marrow and then transplanting some marrow from a donor. Granted, now the immune system will probably reject the entire body, but it is a measure of last resort in certain cancers IIRC.
"oscillating knife" is evocative of "vibro-blade" and similar magicky/techy stuff. However, judging by the SFX, the implement in question is almost certainly analagous to a mundane reciprocating saw. I changed it to "reciprocating knife"
The tone is overly passive, to point of sounding unnatural in English, in this context. This is likely an artifact of Japanese politeness, which generally uses passive, indirect forms. In this situation, with trained professionals performing a complex medical procedure, English usage is absolutely going to be much more direct and imperative. So I changed "I'll leave doing X with Y to you." to "Here, take Y, do X."

While possible, it seems unlikely. The previous knife doesn't look that great for cutting bone; I would think something serrated or saw-toothed would be better, but I'm no expert. It didn't make this noise. And in this picture, the tool he's using seems to have a handle which is not in line with the blade.

Honestly, this is the 1st time i see amputee tag been used on the context of saving someone's life.
Adamska searched through his cold storage collection and found a single right arm and left leg that looked they would be compatible. We used a dragon fang needle to get an anesthetic compound circulating through her body, bound her limbs, and then thoroughly disinfected before shifting to the procedure itself.Occasionally, Reszurre's one eye would open and she would look around while half asleep. This was proof that the anesthetic was working. In reality, I'm sure there are very few people that could actually endure the pain of having four of their limbs amputated one after another.
