I thought it was a Stug III, but the pictures on Wikipedia showed it with a huger barrel. On one of the artist's tweets (twitter #1356013948189900800), they thought they were drawing Ausf. B, but now thinks it to be a Ausf. C.

Because it's the early model. Hell the wikipedia image only shows the Ausf G. There are more but another image was a Ausf B, which pretty much identical to the A model.
