Ironblood peaked with Graf Zeppelin. Her rigging is still recognisable as a carrier, but still monsterous enough to look distinct.

Nowadays it's draw an edgy looking black and red girl, copypaste a robot sea serpent on her that barely resembles a ship, and there, job done!

At least this time she's based on a real ship, and a famous one. Maybe this WWI-themed event is to compensate for the last German event where almost all ships were paper

There's one more Deutschland and one more Hipper, a few old CLs, and two pre-Dreadnaught battleships. And then a bunch of destroyers and a ton of subs, and the converted merchant raiders if they really wanted.

This is what happens when you give a major story role to a faction that doesn't have the ships to support it.

But why do Ironblood need two events in such a short amount of time? There are factions that have gone without events in more than two years, why does Ironblood get the special treament?

P class was meant to have 12 ships, so they could give Heinrich and Adalbert a bunch more sisters.

But it seems that they're going back to WW1 instead, since this is apparently SMS rather than KMS Emden and they're also introducing SMS Lützow (the battlecruiser that sank at Jutland).

Which is a good move, because the High Seas Fleet was much larger than the Kriegsmarine. Going just by ships that were either completed or progressed far enough to have names that'd be 24 pre-dreadnought and 21 dreadnought battleships, 10 battlecruisers, 9 armored cruisers, 55 light cruisers, 348 destroyers (officially "large torpedo boats"), 157 submarines and 1 hybrid seaplane carrier/aircraft carrier.

I like the design much better nowadays than when the game was just copying Kankolle. I don't get how the nordic demons/vampire theme can be disliked other basic nazi uniform fetish. Again if you want boring designs, just return to kantai collection.

And they finally got to the great war's boat so that's great.

On another subject, the RN simps tears leave me untouched, Iris had 2 events and 2 mini events while having a fleet wider than Ironblood, same for Sardeigna, they should be major factions and are treated as sidenotes. So unless we get 3 new iris and 3 new sardeigna events in a row, i don't see why I would want anything related to royal navy.

Are they really simps at this point when they haven't had an event for god knows how long now? Its like being a Sardegna or Iris fan and then they go and not give you an event forever and it makes you spiteful, and you have to admit besides the entire Eagle Union - Sakura pacific front, the RN conducted the MAJORITY of all naval operations in WW2 thus......they should be getting more love than they are, its like CN doesn't want the Brits to have any focus anymore, I wouldn't say its political or something but it has me scratching my head considering how important the British Navy was in the war. And yes while the Iris did have a fleet wider than the Ironblood , what happened to it during the war? oh right, over 60% of it got BLOWN UP IN PORT.

I would prefer if you didn't pull in Yugoslavia's rather minor navy into any more ship girl games. I would not want to see what they do to the Yugoslav destroyer Split, the Royal Yugoslav destroyer Dubrovnik, or god forbid, any of the Royal Yugoslav Beograd-class destroyers, especially Zagreb.

Honestly I would've preferred if Black Emden represented KMS Emden. The 2nd SMS Emden (Königsberg class of 1916) didn't really do anything before scuttling at Scapa Flow, but KMS Emden saw quite a bit of action in Norway and the Baltic.

But the Scapa Flow bit is key to the event's story.

Also y'all should really give up already. It's clear boat choices are story-first.

The "white" Emden is the 1908 Dresden Class (also know as "the swan of the east") which saw quite some action while the "black" one is the 1916 Königsberg Class
