I'm curious here - I love this guy's art, but I'm not sure where the grayfair reading for his name comes from. 灰色 is gray, but for 扶桑 I'd get Fusou in Japanese or fúsāng (Hibiscus) in Mandarin. Anyone know if this is a pun or am I just missing something obvious? Thanks.

FYI, the kanji is wrong.
FYI 2, That's how the Kanji (or Hanzi) is written in Simplified Chinese.
