I never had anything against Yuunoha, as I've written a few (sucky) fics about them, but this pic seems more serious than a relationship pic.
The stern faces looking out into the distance, as if they were just told something that really turned their world around. The library was attacked and partially destroyed, section six is in flames, Fate is in a comma, and the two life long friends try to take comfort in each other as they both look ahead to an uncertain future before they have to split apart and each face their own destinies. As Nanoha walks to a fight she may not win, Yuuno heads back to support his friend from a distance.
So yeah, call it a relationship picture, flame it because you don't like it, don't even mention that the art is pretty good (I really like Nanoha's hair), and whine about it all you want.... Me, I'll enjoy the art and give it it's own little story.
Cry more, dramafags. Don't ship it? No one cares. The world is not obligated to agree with you, no matter how hard you bitch about it.
Back on topic, the art itself is very nice. The expressions are great and can be read a number of ways, and I agree that Nanoha's hair is very well done. ♥
No, not another one. This one's been going since... 2005 or 2006 I think, whenever it was that Nanoha Season 1 came out.
What I love the most about this little rivalry is how the NanoFate fanatics automatically assume all Yuunoha art is made for the purpose of trolling them. It never seems to cross their minds that people might actually like a pairing that isn't theirs and draw pics of it just for fun. Case in point: about half of this pic's comments, along with most of the content of the "Het Threat" thread on Nanochan.
Just watch, once Vivio and Einheart start going the yuri route, they're going to do the same thing to everyone who likes Vivio/someone else pairings. Like me and my Vivio/Cinque obsession.
For that matter, hardcore shippers everywhere, not just in this fandom (and definitely not just NanoFate; I'm sure there are Yuunoha fans who are just as mindlessly hardcore as the Legion is) are in desperate need of having ten tons of common sense forcibly inserted into their frontal lobes. Do none of these people realize that they're wasting their time arguing about the fictional love lives of fictional characters? Can't they at least find something to argue about that's relevant to real life, like McDonalds vs Burger King? (I can see it now: "accept that Burger King is the superior fast food resturaunt, or I'll force-feed you McDonalds chicken nuggets! The kind that AREN'T made with white meat!")
Comartemis; I'm not a stranger to Legion vs 300 thing. Now I just want that, since Legion have gotten their wish canonized, can we ALL get back to watching how awesome Nanoha looks while she befriends people and stop with the pairing wars already? *headdesk*

i'm yuunoha fan and i like open minded people like you. damn agree on that one. i like other pairings but i dont worship them even yuunoha
See, all this pairing problems would be resolved if people accepted multiple partners. Not like these good-hearted folk don't have enough room in their, well, hearts.
