It's that too, but "nekotatsu" is a really bad pun that the artist suggested in the description.

Engrish version pun would probably be Cat-atsu then.

Russian version fits right in: KOT-atsu

Wouldn't it be more like Cat-able, since that's more English.

I'd have said "catmouflage," but that completely bypasses the original joke.

In some slavic languages (like russian or polish) 'kot' means 'cat', which sounds hilarious, because it's kot-atsu, with a 'kot' under it, and 'atsu' means hot in japanese, you know, a kot is atsu and he's under kotatsu... yeah :D
