They may be boys, but this and the other image could be a genderswap.

Disgaea 3 seems to suggest that they don't have traditional sexual dichotomy at all, being plants and all that.

But flowers have sexual organs too.

Plants are hermaphroditic.

Also, head-flowers = skull-fucking.

Most plants/flowers are of a "female" gender, dependent on bees to "fertilize" them. Do you not pay attention in biology?

The game treats them as female for things like Tink's stat boost... Not sure if that really makes a difference though, considering Tink.

Did you ever get that one mystery room in the item world where you fought a room full of flora beasts? But then again as Phane said, that could be the case also. Didn't stop me for useing them in battle, they were awesome.

The way I understand it, Floral Beasts are considered female and treated as such. I think that Bridget in Holt Village is the only exception. So we can consider this to be straight unless the artist specifies it to be Bridget.

I would go for cloral beasts being females from their in-game voices, the buds on their hair that makes it like buns of hair that is often seen in chinese females I think, and the fact that they are tagged as flower-GIRL

You could tag it as polar bear if you wanted, it wouldn't make it a polar bear. That aside, they were boys in the game but there's absolutely no sign of a dick or balls here.

The artist says "ロリでもショタでもどっちでもっていうスタンスがナイス", which I get to mean "Loli yet also shota, but whichever way you look at it, it's a "nice stance"." He literally says "sutansu ga naisu" and I don't know if he means "stance" as in "opinion" or as in "pose".

I'll remove trap but add in androgynous because it does seem that that's the intention here.

And what do you think the bees fertilise them with? Their own bee-spunk? Obviously, it's the pollen from another plant. They just take the pollen from the male part of one plant and put it, completely mindlessly, on the female part of another plant. Some plants are just male or female, but as far as I know the majority are either "bisexual" or have both male and female flowers on the same plant.

No I never did...however now you got me interested.

Here's something that can put this to rest. The fact that if you go to the profile in the Disgaea 2 DHD and go to Floral Beast, you find that the gender is in fact female. Sorry to those that dislike that but I pray this will finally close this issue.

Supposedly, the Floral Beast has been confirmed to be female. So...I'm going with that.
