Fixed. When taken in the wrong context, "yaranai ka" often has an underlying sexual meaning. If translated to "join me", the point of the joke is lost.

Meh, I know it was a "yaranaika" joke, but I was a bit stuck on the wording since a part of my brain was diagreeing with what I should have used (which Hazan has added). *shrug*

And also, FeMC is only called Ishikawa by the artist. It's by in no way official.

It should be noted that there is no official name for the FeMC. Or even semi-official (ala Arisato Minato from the manga). Hamuko is just a pun based on the characters for female hero (if I remember correctly).

Yeah, that was the early official screencap of the game with her named as "Shujin Kouko". If you take apart the last kanji from shujinkou, you get the katakana for "ha" and "mu" add the kanji "ko", and you get Hamuko.

I doubt she'll get Ishikawa as a manga name though, if ever. She doesn't give off that kind of vibe.

Ishikawa is too tied to the guy in Ghost in The Shell for me, it'd just be weird... <.<
