I say this knowing I'm likely to be downvoted into oblivion: They took what should have been an absolute home run of a skin, made it a gag, and gave us an underwhelming pose that does more to obscure than it does to show. Could have just given us a combat ready stance like Javelin's skin and printed money. Could have even kept the reflection of her butt with her standing up, but they just had to go this route.

Fingers crossed the artists of the community can deliver where the official art did not.

No no you have a point. A lot of people were extremely hyped once javelin’s skin came out due to the fact that it could include Z23’s “berserker” skin as well due to how popular it was when the first art of it was released. I’m guessing, in my opinion, it might be due to censorship, but I can’t tell you for sure.

true, i wish to have more drip and baddass skin like Arknights's E2 art (yes i got downvoted for saying this on r/azurelane, screw it, i personally think brawler class in rpg fantasy needs to be a heroic art, not lewd), also i kinda wish for a skin like Saileach disney skin, so majestic and noble

I don't really understand the complaints. Unlike Javelin, Nimi's outfit wasn't changed at all (it is exactly the same ), despite her breasts being more on display than Javelin's were. Javelin's skin shows off leveling up, while Nimi's is showing a common trope in old RPGs that let you enhance weapons (i.e. the potential to fail and lose the item). I think it'd be kind of boring if they were all just displays of "ready for combat" when they're supposed to be DQ references. There's more to DQ and other classic JRPG's than fighting.

I think it's a nice skin. I'd understand more if the outfit had been obviously censored, but it wasn't changed even a little.

I believe the rest of the axe is still melting inside the furnace.

This skin is funny and plenty horny for those that are into that. Just 'cause it hides a bit of boob doesn't mean it's censored. There's still plenty of stuff in show, people.

I understand the complaints and all but I think it's still a nice skin overall. The outfit and pose still feel pretty lewd considering Nimi looks noticably thiccer than in previous skins. Also her expressions are pretty funny.

This. I'm sick of the devs and artists dipping into the memes too often. I genuinely like Niimi, and I'm tired of her always being the butt of jokes (no pun intended).

I hated that blacksmith so damn much. Just getting a gear to +7 was a miracle.
